Align the new coil with the spark plug hole and push it down firmly until it clicks into place. 4. Start the engine and check for any unusual noises, vibrations, or warning lights.

  • 3. While driving, pressing the gas pedal results in weak acceleration, and even jerking or hesitation.
  • 4. The engine shakes noticeably at idle.
Replace worn spark plugs promptly (typically every 40,000–80,000 miles) to reduce the ignition coil’s workload.
Installation
