About this item
  • PACKING LIST: 1 pack of drill bits in 7.0mm cutting diameter, 25mm/0.98 inch flute length, 50mm/1.97 inch overall length, 130° Point Angle
  • FEATURE: Cemented carbide twist drills are widely used in industrial drilling for their strong performance. They offer high hardness, high wear resistance and thermal stability, enabling effective machining of difficult-to-cut materials such as hardened steel and stainless steel, they are designed for
  • APPLICATION: Carbide twist drills with titanium aluminum silicon nitride coating are suitable for machining high-hardness materials due to their ultra-high hardness and heat resistance, including hardened steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium alloys, cast iron, hard plastics, and wood.
  • 130° POINT ANGLE: A characteristic feature of carbide drills, which provides enhanced cutting stability and self-centering capability through increased contact area between the drill point and the workpiece.
  • NOTE: Although it can machine very hard materials, cemented carbide is prone to fail in unstable working conditions or situations prone to vibration. In practical applications, it is essential to use a rigid machine tool and ensure high-precision drill chuck clamping to minimize vibration. Appropriate cutting parameters (particularly feed rate) must also be selected to avoid any form of impact load.

Product Description:
Carbide twist drills have become the preferred tool for industrial drilling due to their exceptional performance. With ultra-high hardness, they can effortlessly machine difficult-to-cut materials like hardened steel and stainless steel. Their wear resistance is 5-10 times that of HSS drills, significantly extending service life. The excellent thermal stability supports cutting speeds 2-3 times faster than conventional drills.

Titanium Aluminum Silicon Nitride Coating: Composed primarily of Ti (titanium), Al (aluminum), Si (silicon), and N (nitrogen), this nano-composite coating significantly enhances the hardness, wear resistance, and high-temperature stability of twist drills. It effectively prevents high-temperature oxidation while reducing the friction coefficient by 30%, substantially minimizing chip adhesion during cutting and ensuring stable, efficient machining processes.

130° Point Angle: A characteristic feature of carbide drills, which provides enhanced cutting stability and self-centering capability through increased contact area between the drill point and the workpiece.

√APPLICATION
Carbide twist drills are suitable for machining high-hardness materials due to their ultra-high hardness and heat resistance, including hardened steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium alloys, cast iron, hard plastics, and wood.

√PACKING LIST:
-Flute Diameter: 8.7mm/0.34 inch ≈ 11/32inch
-Shank Diameter: 8.7mm
-Flute Length: 70mm/2.76 inch
-Total Length: 125mm/4.92 inch
-Package Content: 1pcs x Drill Bit

√NOTE:
During the machining process, friction between the drill bit and the material generates significant heat. Using coolant effectively reduces the temperature, preventing tool overheating and extending the lifespan of the drill bits.

Cut like butter 🔥🔥🔥

Used it on hardened steel using a cheap hand drill at slow speed and the bit cut through the hardened steel like if it was butter. I had used another normal bit before and it barely made a scratch before it broke lol This carbide bit is extremely worth the price.
