The 3-in-1 combination drill and tap bit set can complete hole drilling, tapping, and countersinking. Three processes in one, one-step operation, greatly saving processing steps, improving work efficiency, and providing accurate processing results.
Metric combination tap drill bit is used to create threaded holes, great for situations where both drilling and tapping are required. Can process both through holes and blind holes. Suitable for aluminum, mould steel, stainless steel, bronze, hard plastics, etc..
Self-centering point, do not need assistant center drilling or center punching. Quick change 1/4-inch hex shank can be used on power tools more easily and securely. A tapered end on hex shank can prevent excessive tapping. It exceeds the tap to prevent thread breakage from over-drilling.
6542 high speed steel screw taps run at high speeds and generate threads quickly and efficiently, offering high hardness, wear resistance, and good toughness. TiAlN coating improves drill wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature stability, and prolongs service life.
Works with drilling machines, tapping machines, CNC and milling machines. Use with tapping oil to get higher quality threads and more durable taps. Machine taps are suggested to be used with tap collets with overload protection.
Tips: Recommended feed rate: general steel: 6-15m/min; harder steel: 5-10m/min; stainless steel: 2-7m/min; cast iron: 8-10m/min. The torque caused by too fast feed speed is too large, which can easily cause the tap to break. Taps are prone to chipping or breaking due to speed overload or non-vertical tapping.

If you decide to return an item that is not defective, you’re eligible for a 30-day unconditional return since you’ve received it. Our Customer Service team will send you an address for receiving your return items, it takes 3-5 business days to process your return and issue the refund after our warehouse received the items.

Matters needing attention

All returned items should include the following:

• Original packaging (including original box, plastics foam, bubble wrap, bags, etc.)

• Original intact UPC barcode. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of the return request being honored.

3.For orders sent to the US and under $50, Harfington will provide the return label. For orders sent to other conturies or over $50, Harfington will not provide the return label.

4.If our warehouse detect worn, damaged, or missing on the return items, Harfington reserve the rights to cancel the refund.

5.Defective Items or Wrong Items. If you receive an item that is wrong, defective, or broken, within 30 days of the date since you’ve received it, Harfington will exchange a new item to you or 100% refund it.

6.Non-returnable Items. Some of our products(eg. Customized product) are not under the service of 30-day unconditional returns. We will tag these products on the detail page and your orders.

7.Larger Items. Some items require special shipping and handling. Some larger items may require a freight carrier or may exceed the weight limits allowed, if you want to return a larger item, please contact our Customer Service.

8.For non-quality issues (such as personal reason) , customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping fees and any customs fees or duties incurred during the return process.

9.For wholesale orders According to the specific order situation, we provide different solutions. If your wholesale order is not finished production, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.
