M2 (6542) high-speed steel taps offer high hardness, good toughness, wear resistance, and excellent cutting performance. 9SiCr alloy tool steel die provides excellent hardness, toughness and wear resistance for durability.
Tap and die set can accurately cut, repair or clean threads. Straight flute tap process through holes or shallow blind holes and remove chips downward. Round die is suitable for threads on rods, bolts, screws, pipes and shafts, or just remove bolts and threaded rods. Widely used for most metals, iron, copper, zinc, alloy steel, abrasive steel, stainless steel, etc..
Metric tap & die has clear threads, no burrs, and right hand tapping direction. Thread die is designed with conical lock hole, strong locking force and no loosening. Uncoated tools feature just the base substrate, great for a wide range of applications.
Die is used with die stock wrench (not included). The fastening screw in the middle of the wrench should be inserted into the slot of the die and tightened. Machine tap is used in drill presses, tapping machines, CNC and milling machines. Apply appropriate cutting lubricant or oil for higher quality threads and more durable tap & die.
Tips: Control speed according to material hardness. The higher the hardness, the slower the speed. The force must be uniform in tapping operations. Drill the holes with a twist drill bit first, then tap with a thread tap. The tapping angle should be 90 degrees vertical and stable.

If you decide to return an item that is not defective, you’re eligible for a 30-day unconditional return since you’ve received it. Our Customer Service team will send you an address for receiving your return items, it takes 3-5 business days to process your return and issue the refund after our warehouse received the items.

Matters needing attention

All returned items should include the following:

• Original packaging (including original box, plastics foam, bubble wrap, bags, etc.)

• Original intact UPC barcode. Removal of the UPC code voids any possibility of the return request being honored.

• All accessories, including cords, cases, transformers, parts, batteries, assembly tools, etc.

• All manufacturer instruction manuals, warranty cards, and other documents.

1.Return Shipping is free only for the first return per order.

3.For orders sent to the US and under $50, Harfington will provide the return label. For orders sent to other conturies or over $50, Harfington will not provide the return label.

4.If our warehouse detect worn, damaged, or missing on the return items, Harfington reserve the rights to cancel the refund.

5.Defective Items or Wrong Items. If you receive an item that is wrong, defective, or broken, within 30 days of the date since you’ve received it, Harfington will exchange a new item to you or 100% refund it.

6.Non-returnable Items. Some of our products(eg. Customized product) are not under the service of 30-day unconditional returns. We will tag these products on the detail page and your orders.

7.Larger Items. Some items require special shipping and handling. Some larger items may require a freight carrier or may exceed the weight limits allowed, if you want to return a larger item, please contact our Customer Service.

8.For non-quality issues (such as personal reason) , customer will be responsible for paying the return shipping fees and any customs fees or duties incurred during the return process.

9.For wholesale orders According to the specific order situation, we provide different solutions. If your wholesale order is not finished production, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.
