About this item
  • [Part Number and Fitment of Ambient Air Temperature Sensor] OE Number:5293138AA/645-218/5149264AA/5149264AB/5017119AA/S-1918/PT1417. Fits for Jeep Compass 07-09, for Dodge for Ram 1500 2010, for Chrysler Aspen 2009, for Chrysler PT Cruiser 03-10, for Chrysler Sebring 07-09, for Dodge Avenger 07-09, for Dodge Caliber 07-09, for Dodge Durango 2009, for Dodge Journey 09-10, for Dodge Neon 00-05
  • [Function of Ambient Air Temperature Sensor] The ambient air temperature sensor harness sends stable, accurate temperature signals (from the sensor, like outside air or intake air temp) to the engine control unit (ECU).
  • [Feature of Ambient Air Temperature Sensor] Made of quality copper cable, provides proper fit and steady performance, reinforced plastic plug provides a long last life, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, making your car operate effectively.
  • [Usage Scenarios] Replacing the ambient/air charge temp sensor harness fixes issues from bad signal transmission: wrong temp data to the ECU (causing unstable idling or jerky acceleration), and fluctuating symptoms (e.g., cold-weather or vibration-related problems) due to loose, corroded, or broken harness connections.
  • [Package] Include Ambient Air Temperature Sensor x 1, Connector Pigtail Plug x 1. The Length is 13 inches.

  • Harness Length:13in.
  • Include: Ambient Air Temperature Sensor x 1, Connector Pigtail Plug x 1
Simply to Replace It
  • 1. Turn off the engine, disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • 2. Find the sensor (ambient: near grille; intake: by air filter) and its harness.
  • 3. Unclip the old harness, unplug both ends, remove it.
  • 4. Route the new harness the same way, plug in both ends, reclip.
  • 5. Reconnect the battery, start the engine, check for issues.
Replace the ambient or air charge temperature sensor harness in these cases:
  • - The sensor works, but the ECU gets wrong temps (causing rough idle, high fuel use) – tests show a broken/shorted/damaged harness.
  • - The harness has visible issues: chewed wires, worn insulation, corroded connectors, bent pins – things cleaning can’t fix.
  • - The check engine light shows codes like P0110 or P0125, and the problem is the harness (not the sensor or ECU).
